Buying a car can be an exciting thing to do but also very expensive. If you are buying a car, first decide on your budget. Your budget will determine how much money you can spend on a car and if you are buying a new or used car. If you are buying a new car, visit several car showrooms to see which car best suits your needs. Tell the salespeople what you are looking for. If you are buying a used car, read sales notices on the Internet, newspaper, and around town. Take any used car you are considering buying to a mechanic you trust to have it checked for any repairs it might need. Many people who don't have enough money to buy a car apply for loans with banks. They pay this money back to the bank or car dealership each month until they've returned all the money.
