Felix loved to work on art projects. When he would show his art projects to his friends, they were a little surprised. They thought that Felix was drawing or painting to make his art projects. But Felix wasn't doing that. He was cutting out pieces of paper and gluing them together to make pictures. He cut pieces from magazines and newspapers. He cut pieces from his mother's fabric and from wrapping paper on gifts. Felix would cut little pieces from anything he was allowed to cut up. Then he would put it all together into a beautiful picture. Felix didn't need expensive art supplies. He didn't need to know how to draw very well. He didn't need to know how to mix paint colors. All he needed were his little pieces of paper and some glue. He made wonderful pictures that people enjoyed.
