Everyone likes to have good friends. The best way to have a good friend is to be a good friend. Are you a good friend? Good friends listen to each other. They don't put each other down or say things that will hurt one another's feelings. Good friends also help each other solve problems and provide encouragement about school, parents, or other kids. You and your friends should be able to trust each other and have fun together. If someone makes fun of you or your friend, just walk away. Some kids are bullies, and they will not leave you alone if they think they're bothering you. It can be very hard to ignore a bully. If a bully won't leave you alone, tell an adult at school or home.
