The leafy park stretches from 59th Street in the south to 110th street in the north. Each day, thousands of visitors enjoy the park. Joggers enjoy the six mile path around the perimeter. Tourists ride in the horse and buggies that wait for fairs at the park entrances. Central Park is one of the most cherished parts of New York City. In 2004, over 32,000 volunteers helped restore paths and landmarks throughout the legendary green space.
