When Shirley brought a tiny, green frog home, she had no idea that soon there would be frogs everywhere! At first, the frog, she named Clara, sat in her new aquarium eating insects. Clara swam in the small pool that Shirley made in the aquarium. A few days later, Shirley noticed some eggs floating in the water. A few days after that, there were tadpoles, and the tadpoles eventually grew arms and legs. Then one morning, Shirley woke up with something wet on her face. She opened her eyes to see a frog on her face! She jumped out of bed and looked around her bedroom. There were frogs in her bed, frogs in the bathtub, and frogs in the sink. Shirley's mother and father helped her pick up all of the frogs and take them outside to live in the garden. Shirley freed her pet frog Clara, too.
