Dillon had an inferiority complex. For some reason he didn't think he was as good as other people. That was strange because Dillon had a lot going for him. He did well in school. Everyone who knew him liked him. He was even pretty good at sports. He was especially good at soccer. Everybody said Dillon was the best goalie the team had ever had. But all the praise didn't make Dillon feel any better about himself. Whenever he was around the other kids at school, Dillon would stand at the edge of the group and keep to himself. He hardly ever talked to other students unless they talked to him first. Dillon's parents and his teachers knew how Dillon felt about himself, but they weren't sure how to help him. Gradually Dillon gained confidence on his own, and everyone was happy.
