One of the best things about winter is snow! When it snows, there are many fun activities to do outside. Some things you can only do if there is snow are sledding, snow skiing, and snowshoeing. When the snow is deep, it can make getting up the hill difficult, but once you get to the top, sledding down is a breeze! Light plastic sleds are super fast, and metal saucers make you spin around and around. Sledding is great fun, especially if you add a few bumps to the trail at the end! Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are great ways to be in the woods and enjoy nature in the wintertime. You can go fast or slow, depending on what you want to see. Either way, there's no reason to stay inside on a snowy day when there are so many fun things to do outside!
