The fire raged out of control. The firemen fought it as well as they could. Their hoses shot water out like geysers. They were worried the fire would jump to a nearby building. If it did, there would be no stopping it. So they sprayed that building with water. They soaked it so it wouldn't catch on fire. People lined the streets to watch. They wished they could help. Some of them asked if they could. The firemen appreciated it but wanted them to stay safe. They called for more firemen to come. Five more trucks arrived. Inside the building, there was an explosion. The firemen were in for a long night.
