The Everest View Hotel is a special place to stay. At 12,779 feet, it is the highest hotel in the world. The hotel is not actually located on Mount Everest. It is on a nearby ridge with a view of the mountain. No matter what room you stay in, you can always see Mount Everest. The hotel is in the country of Nepal. It is not easy getting to the hotel. You have to take an airplane to a special landing strip and then walk to the hotel. From the airstrip to the hotel is a 45 minute walk. When you go that high up, it becomes harder to breathe. The hotel continually pumps in oxygen to all the rooms so breathing will not be a problem. Not only does the hotel have a great view of Mount Everest, but you can also see other mountain peaks around Everest. It is a great view.
