Do you ever lose your temper? Although it is usually neither healthy nor wise to allow other people or things to make you lose control of your emotions, a small amount of anger can yield positive results under the right circumstances. If losing your temper prompts you to defend someone who is being treated unfairly or to right an injustice, perhaps expressing your anger is justified. However, before you say or do things that may wound someone else or cause serious problems, you should think about possible consequences. Will your anger bring about positive change? Is it possible that expressing your anger will make things worse? If the latter is the case, it is smarter to wait until you are in an appropriate place and in an appropriate frame of mind before saying or doing anything. When you have had time to consider the consequences, you can then decide if losing your temper will bring positive or negative results.
