Some major practices of Hinduism include people worshiping with the help of priests in temples dedicated to specific gods. These gods are idols made of different materials including stone and precious metals. Monotheistic religions are religions that only believe in one god. Examples of monotheism include Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Christianity, Judaism, and Islam do not promote worship of idols but rather meet in churches, synagogues, and mosques to receive instruction for daily life from spiritual teachers.
