Sondra wanted to be a doctor when she grew up. Her father was a surgeon, and he was able to help many people who were sick or not feeling well. She wasn't exactly sure which kind of doctor she wanted to be, but she knew once she got to medical school, learning about different kinds of medicines and diseases would help her to decide. Medical school was supposed to be hard work, but Sondra was ready to go so that she could learn how to help people. Once she finished school, she knew the next step would be to choose a hospital where she would treat real patients. Sondra had lived in Florida her whole life, but she thought she would consider going to medical school in another state. Sondra thought of it as an opportunity to travel. She was really excited about living in another city and meeting new people. But first, she knew she had to study hard and apply to college. That meant she had to go to bed early so that she could do well on tomorrow's test.
