Cameron was excited. He had saved his money for a long time. He counted what he had. The total amount was one hundred dollars. It took a long time for him to save that much money. Cameron wanted to be responsible with his money. So he told his mom he wanted to put it in the bank. Cameron's mom told him that was a good idea. They drove to the bank together. His mom went up to the counter and talked to the lady behind it. She told her that her son wanted to open an account. The woman came around the counter. She sat down with Cameron and his mom. His mom filled out some paperwork. Then Cameron signed a paper too. The paper said his mom would be a partner on his account. This was because Cameron was still young. She could help him with his money. After that, Cameron made his first deposit. He had one hundred five dollars in his new bank account. His mom gave him an extra five dollars. She said it was because she was proud of him.
