Thanksgiving Dinner

It was hard preparing Thanksgiving dinner. But Hailey felt she was ready. Her mom had done the shopping. Now they had to organize everything. First, they would prepare the turkey. Then it would go in the oven for a few hours. After that, they would work on the side dishes. They would be having stuffing, cranberry sauce, candied yams, and salad. Hailey prepared the stuffing. Her mother began working on the yams. The last thing to make would be the salad. That didn't take long. Hailey finished preparing the stuffing. So then she set the table. It looked lovely. Everyone had a place card to show where they each would sit. Hailey would sit between her parents. Her aunt and uncle would be there for dinner too. They would sit at the ends of the table. The linen tablecloth and napkins looked very nice at each place setting. Soon dinner would be ready. Then they would all sit down to a grand feast.
