More than half of Montana is mountains. The mountains in Montana are called the Rocky Mountains. These mountains are very big. "Montana" is Spanish for "mountain." Montana was named after the many mountains it has. Lots of people visit the mountains. They hike, camp, and fish in the mountains. There are several national wildlife parks in Montana.
