Cindy's first wedding experience had been wonderful, but that had been many years ago. When her aunt first asked her to be her flower girl, Cindy had stated that she would have to decline since she had no flowers, but she had been assured the flowers would be provided for her. Everyone in the family had thought she was adorable, and the pictures of tiny four-year-old Cindy in her pale green flower-girl dress testified to her cuteness. She wished she were still four years old, and she wished that her cousin Anna had never asked her to be a bridesmaid in this wedding. Cindy knew she would be a terrible bridesmaid; she would probably trip over something on her way down the aisle. Aside from the fact that bubble-gum pink was a terrible color for her, Cindy felt silly in the ruffle-laden dress that Anna had chosen. She would look like a giant inverted cone of cotton candy at best, but how could she say no?
