Janet's bike had a flat. Her mom had showed her how to fix it. So Janet got a new inner tube and the air pump. She flipped her bike onto the handle bars and seat. She slipped the tire tool between the tire and wheel rim. She slid the tool around the tire. One side of the tire was off the rim. She walked to the other side. The tire came off easily. She took out the old inner tube. The hole was right in the middle. She thought she could patch it. She took out the new tube. It was flat and black. Janet thought it looked like a belt. She unscrewed the cap. The pump nozzle fit onto the tire. She gave the air pump a few pushes. The tire took on a rounded shape.
