If you've ever had chicken pox, I feel sorry for you. If you haven't, you're downright fortunate. I say that because I'm lying here in bed right now, covered in red spots from my head to my toes. I look like something out of a horror movie. And do I itch? Let me tell you! It's all I can do to keep from scratching my head off. But I don't because my mom said if I scratched I'd end up with scars. It's not that I don't already have some scars, the one from when I fell off the swing and banged my chin, for instance, but I guess I don't need to purposely add more. But sometimes when the itching really gets intense and no one is watching, boy, do I want to scratch! It's a good thing the doctor said the itching will end soon because I'm not sure how much longer I can take it.
