Jan leaned back into her airplane seat. Her forehead was sweaty. Though the plane hadn't taken off, she couldn't look out of the window. For the third time, she checked that her seat belt was buckled. It still was. She pulled it snug around her waist. Taking a deep breath, she looked around at the other passengers. Once he clicked it together, she told him how to tighten it. He smiled again. "Thank you. Flying makes me nervous," he said.
