Điểm Lexile là thang điểm tiêu chuẩn nhằm đo lường khả năng đọc hiểu của học sinh. Không có một tiêu chuẩn bắt buộc nào đối với học sinh phải đạt đến điểm Lexile nào. Tuy nhiên, thông thường các em học sinh ở mỗi cấp lớp sẽ đạt được trình độ lexile nhất định. Bảng sau đây là bảng tham khảo vể điểm lexile của các bạn học sinh từ lớp 1 đến lớp 12. Phụ huynh lưu ý: trình độ đọc của con (điểm Lexile) có thể cao hơn hoặc thấp hơn trung bình.

More than 24 million people in the United States love to craft projects with yarn. Knitting is one very popular pastime. There are two basic stitches when it comes to knitting, knit and purl. These two types of stitches can be made into a variety of patterns and designs on sweaters, scarves, and more. You only need two things to start knitting, a pair of knitting needles and a continuous strand of yarn. Knitting needles come in aluminum, plastic, or wood. Needles are available in two sizes, 10 inches and 14 inches. Circular knitting needles can be used for large projects such as afghans. Many knitters like the idea that they can make handmade gifts for family and friends. Others say working with the yarns has a calming effect. Knitters also like the fact that they can knit anywhere, including in a car, on an airplane, or in front of the television.
